August Recipe of the Month

Campfire Corn on the Cob

· corn on the cob with husk

· water (enough to cover corn)

· ½ Cup Sugar

· butter

· salt

PREPARATION

Place your corn on the cob in a container of water with sugar added. Make sure there is enough water to cover the corn. Soak your corn for two hours. Remove your corn after the two hours and place on your campfire, making sure to turn often to avoid burning. Cook for approximately 20 minutes or until tender, remove from fire. Peel back husk and spread with butter, salt or any of your favourite seasonings. Also great with garlic butter.
